Hicks CD Out Today

So, the first full length CD from unlikely American Idol winner Taylor Hicks hit stores today.
Personally, I'm wondering just how well Hicks will come over on on CD. As far as I'm concerned, while he's a fine singer, Hicks' main appeal is visual: the boyish face beneath a mop of prematurely gray hair; the apoplectic attempts at dancing. Simon Cowell hit the nail on the proverbial head when he compared Taylor to somebody's drunken uncle at a wedding. And unless he starts slurring his words, I don't know how Hicks can project that quality through vocals alone.
